“Theater is a place called home for three-time Grammy nominee Philip Chaffin. Known for his work on and off stage, Chaffin is no stranger to desert theaters. He played ukulele and mandolin during Coachella Valley Repertory’s run of Once, a musical based on a film about a man who gave up a career in music until a woman inspired him to get back into the groove.
CVRep welcomes Chaffin back to the stage for a night of musical bliss in its Summer Cabaret Series, featuring a standout lineup of local and international sensations. Among the performers: Ken Page, who portrayed Old Deuteronomy in the original Broadway production of Cats; local celebrity comedian/musician duo Deven Green & Handsome Ned; and Jason Graae, best known for the many Broadway plays under his belt.
