Palm Springs Gay Pride

A street fair, a music festival, and a gathering place, the Pride Festival celebrates all that is LGBTQ+ in Palm Springs. Sip, sashay, and celebrate in several downtown Palm Springs open-air event venues.

Grand Marshals:

  • Sister Roma, Grand Marshal: For nearly four decades, Sister Roma has been a globally recognized member of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence in San Francisco.
  • Holly Near, Celebrity Grand Marshal: A renowned singer and storyteller, Holly Near has dedicated over 40 years to creating music that inspires activism and celebrates a more equitable world.
  • Peter Daut, Community Grand Marshal: A six-time Emmy Award-winning journalist for KESQ News Channel 3, Peter is being honored for his commitment to community service and his powerful reporting.
  • Esther Loewen, Marsha P. Johnson Grand Marshal: An Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, educator, and podcast host, Esther is being honored for her work in creating inclusion and celebrating authenticity.
  • Renae Punzalan, Marsha P. Johnson Grand Marshal: A native Chamorro from Guam, Renae is the Director of Youth Services at the Transgender Health & Wellness Center.
  • Jasper Price, Marsha P. Johnson Grand Marshal: As the Director of Trans & Gender Expansive Programs at the LGBTQ Community Center of the Desert, Jasper works to expand affirming resources and programming throughout the Coachella Valley.

The colorful parade steps off in the Uptown Design District at Tachevah and Palm Canyon Dr. and travels south through downtown, ending at the Palm Springs Pride Festival at Amado.

1 - La Crema Experience

La Crema is thrilled to be the official wine for Palm Springs Pride as we continue to celebrate our LGBTQ+ friends, family members, co-workers, and customers. We have a shared belief in elevating the lives of those around us through openness, allyship, and helping create moments of unfiltered joy. We canโ€™t wait to raise a glass with you in Palm Springs. 

2 - Sunny Dunes Clubhouse Recovery Oasis 

Stop in for sobriety fun at the Recovery Oasis. Meet up with old friends and make new friends in our recovery lounge. Find out about upcoming sobriety events. 

3 - Childrenโ€™s Headquarters (CHQ)

Families are invited to join us for arts and crafts and games. CHQ is a playful place for children and accompanying adults. There will be hands-on fun for you and children, from infants to pre-teens. 

4 - Youth Zone

Youth Zone, open to those 21 and under, is the hub for LGBTQ+ youth and their allies at the Pride Festival. The zone features continuous entertainment and activities, free food and drink, games, dancing, music, seating, contests, games, youth-only confidential testing, drag and makeup fun, great conversation, creative expression, chalk drawing, shade from the sun, toilets and a washing station, and safe-sex information. EVERYTHING IS FREE.

 Check for lost items at the Pride Volunteer Village near the intersection of Belardo Road and Andreas. After the event, you can contact Greater Palm Springs Pride at 760-416-8711.

8 - Food Court

Vendors are located on Palm Canyon Drive and Arenas Road, east of Indian Canyon Drive. Enjoy the many tempting choices, from fresh lemonade, agua frescas, and es cendol, pupusas, and bratwurst.  Mexican food, Philly cheese steak, fried pickles, and more await your taste buds.

9 - Arenas District Outdoor Beverage Lounges

All bars are cashless. Staffed by volunteers from local nonprofit organizations. Tips and beverage proceeds benefit Palm Springs Pride and help keep the Festival free and accessible for everyone.

TV personality and community leader Scott Nevins hosts the La Crema Wines Pride Parade Stage, with guest commentators live from 9:30 a.m. 

Skip the Line offers purchasers exclusive priority access to participating Arenas District bars, with proceeds directly benefiting Greater Palm Springs Pride. This unique collaboration showcases the deep connection between the District's hospitality businesses and the LGBTQ+ community they proudly serve.

Skip the Line all access passes are now available for purchase, with 100% proceeds going directly to Greater Palm Springs Pride programming. Community members and visitors can purchase passes, supporting both the Arenas District's thriving bar scene and one of the region's most important LGBTQ+ institutions. Businesses scheduled to participate include Blackbook, Chill Bar, Dickโ€™s, Hunterโ€™s, Quadz, and Streetbar.

The Festivalโ€™s Main Stage on Arenas Rd will be graced by a mix of international stars, multi-talented queer artists, and high-energy performers, setting the tone for an unforgettable Pride weekend. The featured showcase artists include:
NOVUL:ย A rising Canadian pop-alternative artist based in Los Angeles, known for her genre-blurring sound, high-energy performances, and bold creative identity, headlines the Arenas Main Stage on Saturday, November 7. Come experience why NOVULโ€™s bold visuals and fearless sound are fueling her rapid rise.
Sorana:ย Kicking off the weekend with a global sound and infectious energy, Sorana is a Romanian multi-platinum singer and songwriter known for her catchy melodies and passionate vocals. Following her start on the Romanian X Factor, she has collaborated with music giants like The Chainsmokers, Jason Derulo, and David Guetta.
Jules Liesl: The Bold New Voice of Gay Dance-Pop
Fresh off her Top 17 Billboard Dance Airplay hit, Jules Liesl is rapidly emerging as one of popโ€™s most electrifying new voices. Recently hailed by Flaunt Magazine asโ€œthe fun new voice of gay dance-pop,โ€ย Jules blends high-energy production, undeniable hooks, and fearless authenticity into a sound thatโ€™s entirely her own.

Real Xman:ย Bringing the ultimate "Pride energy," the San Diego-based artist Real Xman promises to deliver "bangers for the Girls, Gays, Thems, Theys, and allies," electrifying the crowd with unapologetic queer anthems.
Bryce Xavier:ย Queer artist Bryce Xavier, who engages an audience of over 4 million followers, will be featured in the Friday lineup, fresh off the release of his new single โ€œYou Make Me Stupidโ€ on October 24.
Ashley Paul:ย Get ready for an electrifying performance by the acclaimed Ashley Paul, whose remarkable career spans music, film, and television. Her hit single Bingo Baby has over 1 million streams and is ranked #1 on Amazon Music, proving sheโ€™s a true powerhouse entertainer.
The LGBTQ+ Artist Showcase is the heart of a comprehensive lineup that features 68 performances and actsย across multiple stages. Beyond the featured headliners, the festival includes a variety of musical acts guaranteed to keep the party going, including Planet Booty, direct from Oakland. This collective of Indiana brothers and their friends is an eclectic funk and soul dance band powerhouse known for preaching sweaty joy along the West Coast. Chase Brown is a Texas-born country artist and Las Vegas resident known for his high-energy "Vegas Country" show that blends country hits from various decades with pop and rock.
The decks will also be hot with twenty DJs in the lineup, including Sam Childs, DJ Galaxy, Jayne Gray,ย and ModGirlโ€™s Rainbow Raveย to close the Festival on Sunday. A new DJ stage, located at Palm Canyon Dr at Amado, will be the go-to spot for nonstop EDM vibes, featuring talented local and special guest DJs. Attendees can dance under the desert sky and take a spin on the 100-foot Ferris Wheelย while soaking in breathtaking views of downtown.
The four-day celebration, presented by the City of Palm Springs, kicks off on Thursday night with Dia de La Reina at the Arenas District Main Stage, where the Pride energy never stops!
