The City of Cathedral City, led by Mayor Raymond Gregory, invites residents, business leaders, and community stakeholders to attend the 2026 State of the City luncheon,“Cathedral City Takes Flight,” on Tuesday, May 12, 2026.
The annual event will take place at the DoubleTree by Hilton Golf Resort from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for the business expo, presentations and awards and luncheon. New this year is a special sponsor reception with a meet and greet with city officials at 10:30 a.m.
This highly anticipated gathering provides a comprehensive look at Cathedral City’s economic progress over the past year, showcasing the city’s best, brightest, and most innovative businesses while outlining key initiatives, developments, and priorities shaping the city’s future.
Mayor Gregory is the featured speaker and will deliver the State of the City address at approximately 12:30 p.m., with appearances by members of the City Council. The program will also feature a business expo and awards presentation recognizing outstanding contributions within the community.
Hosted by Emmy® Award-winning KESQ News Ch. 3 Chief Meteorologist and host of “Eye on the Desert Patrick Evans and produced by Hocker Productions, this dynamic and re-imagined event is designed to celebrate Cathedral City’s continued growth and momentum while fostering connections among civic, business, and community leaders.
