Modernism Week announced that it will offer an exciting online auction of unique and compelling experiences and intriguing and distinctive items just in time for the holiday season.

The online bidding event, called the 'Best of Modernism - Holiday Edition” Auction, will run 9 days from December 2 - 10, 2023, and will feature more than 100 unique architectural experiences, exclusive VIP Modernism Week event tickets and experiences packages, access to exclusive sold-out parties, and uncommon items not typically available to the public.

Hopeful bidders may set up an account on the auction page and submit bids during the event. The winners will be announced after bidding concludes.

The ‘Best of Modernism - Holiday Edition’ Auction will take place at modernismweek.com starting December 2, 2023, at 12 Noon PST. All funds raised will go to support Modernism Week, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.

Modernism Week Opening Weekend VIP four-night package at Hotel Del Marcos, including 2 tickets for the following events: Modernism Week Opening Night Party, the highly anticipated ‘Big Reveal Party at the Shag House,’ and the swanky Midcentury Magic Cocktail Party at a 1954 Wexler-designed Deepwell Ranch Residence.

A two-night stay at Mod Lodge, a unique sumptuous property in nearby Pioneertown. Walking distance to Pappy and Harriet’s, the 2,000 square foot home on five acres features an impressive array of vintage furniture and amenities.

A two-night stay in Bungalow PSP, a fabulously renovated unit at the fabled and historic Ocotillo Lodge, built in 1957 by Palmer & Krisel as a magnificent hotel.

The Palm Springs Animal Shelter is thrilled to be partnering with NBC Palm Springs for our first-ever Tail-A-Thon! From 4:00-7:00pm on Thursday, December 14th, we will be broadcasting LIVE from the shelter, raising critical funds on air for our animals who depend on us every day. The event will be co-hosted by Shelter Board Member Scott Nevins and NBC Palm Springs talent.

In participation with Yucca Valley’s 3rd Saturday Art Walk (December 16, 2023 from 5PM-8PM), Joshua Tree National Park Association presents “Desert Winter”: Safely Finding Your Solitude. This will be a group show featuring Southern California artist’s interpretation of our desert winters at Joshua Tree National Park. Winter temperatures can drop well below freezing inside the national park. Hypothermia can be a hazard even at temperatures above freezing. The short days of winter lead some hikers to miscalculate how much time they need to complete a hike. The show will feature photography, ceramics, paintings, textile art and more. Proceeds from the show will directly benefit the protection and preservation efforts of Joshua Tree National Park.

The Desert Winds Freedom Band presents the Jazz Band Concert and Gala Fundraiser, Dream'n' on Sunday, February 18, 2024 from 11 am to 1:30 pm.

​‘Dream’n’ is what we all do from time to time, and this jazz band showcase will be exploring the subject with tunes like “Living in a Dream”, “In Your Dreams”, “Shadows and Dreams”, and “Promise of Dreams”, to name a few. Our jazz band is stacked with amazing musicians, many who will be featured as soloists. Guest vocalists are yet to be announced, but this concert always sells out as it is limited to 160 patrons. It is also our annual fundraiser with a silent auction, so get your tickets NOW!

The Center will present the Red Dress Dress Red 2023 on Saturday March 18, 2023 at the Palm Springs Air Museum.

The biggest party in Palm Springs, Red Dress Dress Red, is a night of community, fun, and fantasy where we dance the night away. The theme of “Red” guides our imagination as everyone comes dressed to impress. Imagine the best Halloween and Mardi Gras parties you’ve ever attended; combine them together beneath the spectacular mountains of the Coachella Valley, dress it all in red, and you have a sliver of the living fantasy that is Red Dress Dress Red… pssst, your ticket includes bites and drinks!

Drag is not your thing? No worries. An actual dress is not required. Just wear something red. And make sure you’re dressed to impress. Guests will be in everything from red top hot and tails to red sequin and feathers as they dance the night away at the Palm Springs Air Museum, from 8pm to 11pm.
