Travel down the road and back again with The Golden Gays, the premiere musical and live-singing Golden Girls Drag Troupe. Direct from Off-Broadway and Celebrity Cruises - the Golden Gays are bringing their holiday musical “Thank YULE for Being a Friend” to Toucans Tiki Lounge on Saturday December 2nd at 7 PM.
Picture it: Palm Springs, 2023
‘Twas the night before Christmas and all through the store, each department was dripping with Yuletide decor.
Sophia was nestled all snug in her bed, while visions of sugar prunes danced in her head. Before traveling to spend the holidays with their families, Dorothy, Blanche, and Rose participate in a golden gift exchange full of hilarious surprises.
Just as they get to the airport a winter storm blows in, leaving them trapped!
In an unexpected Charles Dickens twist of events, the three hip grannies must visit their past, present, and future to save Christmas (and find Sophia)...just in time for Turkey Lurkey.
Lucky audience members may even have a chance to make their stage debut and become the next #TokenSophia

Discover a hidden LGBTQ friendly Palm Springs Speakeasy with Live Music, hosted and produced by local celebrity entertainer couple Leanna & Miguel on congas, notable allies to the LGBTQIA community! Let's paint the picture...
You stumble upon this historic Palm Springs movie house, live music hits your ears, you take the quaint elevator or circular staircase to the hidden 2nd Floor, only to discover a Palm Springs Speakeasy! The jazz band and singer nestled in the corner, jamming away at jazz, bossa, and Latin jazz rhythms, black tablecloths adorned with candlelight chandeliers, and your favorite cocktails and bites.
You breathe into this exciting live music adventure, and want the world to know what you discovered, yet, you secretly want to keep it for you & your closest friends who love a hidden local spot, away from the tourist hustle and bustle of downtown.
A venue unlike any other in Palm Springs, where your fellow guests whisper low and cheer at the end of their favorites, basking in the sea of sights & sounds.
This IS Jazz on the 2nd Floor, with Leanna & The Jazz Collective, every Tuesday, 5-7:30pm, at the historic Camelot Theatre at the Palm Springs Cultural Center.
rsvp: bit.ly/Jazz2ndFloor
The brainchild of Leanna Rodgers, she wanted a place where the best jazz musicians could gather. She books them each week in rotation, so the audience never gets the same show twice. The top players in their craft, and even some masters that come as guests and get invited to sit in. This is the nod to Palm Springs Music Magic that is experienced every Tuesday.
Make sure to rsvp, it fills up, especially in high season: bit.ly/Jazz2ndFloor
See you there!

Event Details
K & E Entertainment is proud to present Cabaret6: Desert Stars featuring rarely seen cabaret shows from Coachella Valley’s finest entertainers. For six Wednesdays, November 8th through December 13th, each Desert Star will take the stage at the newly renovated Revolution Stage Company (RSC) at 611 S. Palm Canyon Drive in downtown Palm Springs.
Palm Springs is an entertainment mecca for musicians and singers with performance credentials from the stages of New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles. You’ve seen them at local clubs and restaurants performing for happy hours, dinner, and dancing, but you’ve rarely seen them perform their cabaret shows as a big production on a big stage here in the desert. Larger venues are bringing in talent from major cities leaving local performers to travel to other cities to perform their shows. K & E Entertainment’s Cabaret6: Desert Stars is presenting those well-lauded shows at Revolution Stage Company, now fully renovated with 128 cushioned theater seats, a full bar, and an ice cream station.
Revolution Stage Company is located at 611 S. Palm Canyon Drive in downtown Palm Springs, the former home of the Desert Rose Playhouse. Along with cabaret and classes, RSC is dedicated to developing thrilling new plays and musicals along with reinventing classic shows in addition to hosting performers from around the world.
Cabaret6: Desert Stars
November 8th / A Tina Turner Tribute with Keisha D and Hearts of Soul.
Keisha D & Hearts of Soul and other featured players. So far, this show has played only two locations, but you’ll have a chance to see it with backup dancers, and that special something that only Keisha brings to the stage.
November 15th / Different Drum: The Music of Linda Ronstadt with Francesca Amari.
Winner of the won 2023 DTL Award for Outstanding Lead Female Performer in a Cabaret/Revue - Professional for this show which is even bigger this time around. She was named the winner of Broadway World Palm Springs Award for Best Streaming Concert/Cabaret in 2022 for her Gilda Radner tribute show. She has performed in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and most recently on a riverboat cruise up the mighty Mississippi. Now you can see the award-winning show by this terrific performer who is the chef’s kiss of cabaret performers.
November 22nd / 1963 with Tod Macofsky.
Celebrating the year he was born, Macofsky has played to sold out crowds in the Desert, Los Angeles and on many top-tier cruise ships. You won’t want to miss his updated show backed by the stellar Gand Band. Macofsky brings his sense of humor and his smooth voice to our stage.
November 29th / Brian Scott - Unexpected.
Palm Springs favorite cowboy Brian Scott as you’ve never seen him before - with a three-piece band. The show is a mix of crowd pleasers, country ballads, and Scott’s own original music. He found global fame when he won the 2009 Karaoke National Championship USA title with a rendition of Elton John's "Candle in the Wind." He went on to place sixth in the world championships.
December 6th / Songs of Sarah, A Tribute to Sarah Vaughn with Rose Mallett.
Mallett brings her highly lauded and sold out New York Sarah Vaughn tribute show to our stage with a rhythm section, keys, and a sax. You may have seen her perform at The Purple Room, but the last time she did her Sarah show in Palm Springs was in 2019. One of the most highly respected musicians in the valley, this is a golden opportunity to hear Mallett like you haven’t heard her before.
December 13th / Keisha D Sings Ella Fitzgerald.
Known for her big voice, and her ability to get a room up on its feet, Keisha D shows off her wide variety of chops with a show dedicated to the songs and the voice of Ella Fitzgerald. If your jam is classic jazz, you’ll want to book these last two shows before they sell out.
