The Palm Springs Public Library presents author, poet, founder of Pride Poets, and former poet Laureate of West Hollywood Brian Sonia-Wallace. He will be in conversation with Corey Roskin discussing his experience writing poems for strangers around the country from his book “The Poetry of Strangers” and he will write some poems on the spot for a few lucky attendees. His books will be for sale at the event courtesy of The Best Bookstore in Palm Springs, a great opportunity to pick-up a gift for the poetry lover in your life!
This event will take place at the downtown Welwood Murray Memorial Library on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at 2:30 pm.

On Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. the The Palm Springs Public Library will host best-selling author Wade Rouse. He will be discussing his latest novel written under the pen name Viola Shipman, “The Wishing Bridge”, a book that sparkles with the humor and heart for the holidays. Books will be available to purchase and have signed following the presentation courtesy of The Best Bookstore in Palm Springs.
Wade Rouse is the USA TODAY, Publishers Weekly, and internationally bestselling author of 15 books, including five memoirs and ten novels. Wade’s books have been selected multiple times as Must-Reads by NBC’s Today Show as well as Michigan Notable Books of the Year. His memoirs and novels have been featured in the Washington Post, USA Today and on Chelsea Lately and chosen three times as Indie Next Picks by the nation’s independent booksellers. Wade was a finalist for the Goodreads Choice Awards in Humor (he lost to Tina Fey) and was named by Writer’s Digest as “The #2 Writer, Dead or Alive, We’d Like to Have Drinks With” (Wade was sandwiched between Ernest Hemingway and Hunter Thompson).
