Michael Holmes’ Purple Room Palm Springs ushers in a vibrant new season beginning Tuesday, September 1, as the iconic supper club reopens with its acclaimed weekly entertainment and an exceptional fall lineup packed with celebrated performers. The venue, long cherished for its historic charm, intimate atmosphere, and world‑class talent, promises a dynamic mix of jazz, Broadway, cabaret, comedy, and nostalgic tributes throughout September and October.
The season launches Labor Day weekend with Broadway favorite David Burnham, returning September 4–5 with Burnham Sings Bublé, a fresh, high‑energy tribute to Michael Bublé’s greatest hits—from “Feeling Good” to “Haven’t Met You Yet.” Beginning September 1, the Purple Room’s beloved weekly programming resumes: Tuesday nights spotlight jazz legend Rose Mallett; Wednesdays swing through the Rat Pack era; and Thursdays offer the popular “Date Night,” pairing a three‑course dinner with seductive live jazz from the Andy Fraga Quartet.
Guests can also enjoy the Valley’s Best Happy Hour Tuesday–Thursday from 4–6 pm, featuring performances by Grammy‑nominated Chris Bennett, piano prodigy Kevin Tokarz, and David McBride.
Owner and performer Michael Holmes shares his excitement about reopening, noting the venue’s recent recognition by OpenTable diners as one of the best restaurants of 2026. His signature production, The Judy Show!, returns every Sunday beginning September 6 (except October 18), continuing its legacy as one of the club’s fastest‑selling events.
September brings standout performances including Brenna Whitaker: A Voice and a Piano (September 11), Elvis tribute artist Scot Bruce (September 12 and October 18), Jason Graae’s witty and heartfelt It’s a Graae Night for Singing! (September 18), and Chuck Sweeney’s acclaimed Peggy Lee homage FEVER! (September 19).
Debby Holiday heats up September 25–26 with Simply the Best: A Tribute to Tina Turner & Friends, followed by the legendary Marilyn Maye, returning October 1–3 with Marvelous Marilyn Maye. At 98, Maye continues to captivate audiences nationwide, fresh off her sold‑out Carnegie Hall triumph.
October continues the momentum with Anthony Nunziata (October 9–10), blending Italian arias, Broadway classics, jazz standards, and original music; The Black Market Trust (October 16–17), merging American crooner nostalgia with Gypsy Jazz flair; and The Skivvies’ Halloween spectacular, The Rocky Horror Skivvies Show (October 23–24), known for its stripped‑down musical mashups and surprise guests.
Meghan Murphy closes out October with The Big Red Show! (October 30–31), a fiery blend of powerhouse vocals, humor, and glamour.
November and December performers will be announced soon, rounding out what promises to be one of the Purple Room’s most exciting seasons yet.
