Cat on a Hot Tin Roof

The Bent brings Tennessee Williams’ sizzling, Pulitzer Prize-winning masterpiece Cat on a Hot Tin Roof to the Coachella Valley, opening the company’s milestone fifth season on Friday, October 9, at the Palm Springs Cultural Center.

Set against the backdrop of a Southern estate during Big Daddy’s birthday celebration, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof centers on the fractured marriage of Maggie and Brick. As Maggie desperately fights to salvage their relationship and secure their future, Brick retreats into alcohol to dull the pain of unresolved grief and silent regret. Surrounding them, the family gathers, creating a pressure cooker where long-buried secrets, hidden desires, and unspoken truths threaten what matters most—the fragile bonds holding them all together.

The cast features Jason Ayestas, Kai Brothers, Mark Crowell, Jessica Lenz, Branda Lock, Justin McEneny, Elijah Olachea, Michael Pacas, and Sonia Reavis. Under Ray’s direction, The Bent’s 5th season opener promises a dynamic evening of theatre that is both thought-provoking and richly human.
