Art in the Park in the Dark 2025

Art in the Park in the DARK Returns to Demuth Park with Lasers, Laughs, and Light-Filled Creativity

Palm Springs’ beloved nighttime art celebration, Art in the Park in the DARK, returns Saturday, November 29, 2025, from 5:00–9:00 pm at Demuth Park (Mesquite Ave at Calle Santa Cruz). This free, all-ages event transforms the park into a radiant playground of lasers, live art, and glowing community spirit.

Founded by local comedian and producer Shann Carr, the event began as a reveal party for artist-painted picnic tables. It has since evolved into a full-scale glow-forward art experience supported by the City of Palm Springs, PS Pride, and community partners including KGAY 106.5/92.1, Gay Desert Guide, 103.1 MeTV FM, Coachella Valley Independent, Hot Purple Energy, and CVWD.Media.

What to Expect

  • Interactive Glow Art: Create, collaborate, and shine with hands-on art booths and light installations.
  • Laser Show by Kyle Garner: Enjoy dazzling laser wizardry from the world-renowned artist behind Laseronics.
  • Glow & Go Parade at 7:30 pm: Decorate your bike, stroller, skates, or wheelchair and join the illuminated procession.
  • Live DJ & Desert Flaggers: Dance through the lasers with upbeat tunes and blacklight performances.
  • Free Blacklight Flashlights: First 100 attendees receive a glowing gift to light up the night.
  • Pop-Up Night Gallery: Artists and galleries are invited to hang illuminated works — even in the trees.
