The Harvey Milk Diversity Breakfast committee is proud to announce that Brandon Wolf will be honored with theHarvey B. Milk Leadership Award and Judy and Dennis Shepard with theHarvey B. Milk Legacy Award at the 14th annual event. The Harvey Milk Diversity Breakfast will take place at the Palm Springs Convention Center onThursday, May 14, 2026 at 8:30 AM for coffee hour and 9:30 AM breakfast and program.
Harvey B. Milk Leadership Award – Brandon Wolf
Brandon Wolf is a nationally recognized advocate for LGBTQ+ civil rights and gun safety, bestselling author, and survivor of the tragic 2016 mass shooting at Orlando’s Pulse Nightclub. He appears frequently on MSNOW and CNN, and has bylines in Oprah Daily, The New York Times, Washington Post, USA Today, and others. Brandon was named one of the Logo TV’s 30 LGBTQ Changemakers, Huffington Post’s 30 LGBTQ Influencers under 30 and Out Magazine’s 100 Most Influential LGBTQ People in America.
