Heaven is a Place in Downtown Palm Springs!

Palm Springs will be awash in men from May 5 to May 8 for the annual White Party, gay men’s retreat. Typically, about 30,000 revelers from the world over to participate in the event that includes wall-to-wall pool parties at the Renaissance Palm Springs hotel such as: the kick off Splash 1 from noon to 6 PM May 5; Splash 2, aptly subtitled Addicted to Boys, from 10 AM to 7 PM May 6; and Splash 3: One Day in Heaven from 10 AM to 4 PM May 7.
There will be parties such as a Military Ball, drinks, dancing, play and of course swimming. Performers include Belinda Carlisle at the White Party T-Dance, DJ Phil B, the Papa Party for those who like leather, featuring DJs Tomo Woodland, Isaac Escalante and all the sensations you can imagine, VIP daybeds and cabanas and Go-Go dancers galore!

The Fabulous "Evening Under the Stars"
Saturday, May 6, 2017, marks AIDS Assistance Program's 24th annual Evening Under the Stars, which includes an extended cocktail hour, delicious dinner, awards, fireworks and much more.
For 2017, organizers are thrilled to present Martha Reeves and the Vandellas. The ultimate Motown Diva, Martha’s hits include Heat Wave, Dancing In The Street, Jimmy Mack, and Nowhere To Run.
Reeves is the recipient of the Dinah Washington Award, a Rhythm n’ Blues Foundation Pioneer Award, a Black Woman in Publishing Legends Award, and has been inducted in the Alabama, Soul, Rock and Roll, and Vocal Group halls of fame. “Dancing in the Street” has been entered into the Library of Congress Registry of Historical Recordings and the Grammy Hall of Fame. Martha Reeves and the Vandellas are listed among Rolling Stone magazine’s “100 Immortal Artists” and Martha herself was named one of the “30 Top Lead Singers of all Time.”
One of the desert’s most enjoyable and beloved fundraising events, Evening Under the Stars continues its traditional ‘Dance Party’ theme with dancing immediately after the show with DJ Jerry Bonham on the main stage. Join the party!

Desert's Got Talent Benefits Boo2Bullying
Boo2Bullying proudly presents its first annual talent showcase—Desert's Got Talent—featuring the breakout stars of tomorrow. We'll feature singers, dancers, magicians, comedians and other performers of all ages, with winners to be decided by the audience.

TG Monday's at Bongo Johnny's Empowers the Transgender Community

The Transgender Community Coalition and Bongo Johnny's present TGMondays every 2nd Monday of the month. All day, a percentage of purchases benefit the RAINA CHESSMAN FUND to help the local community. And specifically, between 5-8 PM, is the Transgender Social Hour (three hours, actually). All the excitement takes place at Bongo Johnny's Bar & Grille, 214 E. Arenas Road.
Transgender Community Coalition changes and creates ordinances, policies, laws and the attitudes of the public so that all people no matter where they are on the gender spectrum can live safely, authentically and free from discrimination regardless of their gender identity, sexual orientation or gender expression.
