George Zander Candlelight Vigil and March
Join us to reflect, remember, and stand up against hate violence around the world.
We will join in memory of all victims of hate crimes and remember George Zander on the 2nd anniversary of the day he and Chris Zander were attacked in downtown Palm Springs. George died on December 10, 2015.
On the anniversary of the attack we will gather to reflect. Help us carry forward the social justice efforts that defined George Zander’s life and honor his memory so that no other individual falls victim to a crime of hate. We must remain determined to change hate, intolerance, and ignorance into love and acceptance.
The vigil will begin on La Plaza, in front of Grand Central, and features a rally and march through the heart of Palm Springs. We will never forget.
Join us and community sponsors as we speak out against hate. More Info
Kick Off Greater Palm Springs Pride This Friday with the FREE Viva la Vida Street Party
The outdoor concert is a free 21+ Pride event. Join us at the US Bank Stage, on Arenas between Indian Canyon Dr. and S. Calle Encilia, to celebrate life and shout VIVA LA VIDA… yours, mine, ours! Celebrate that we feel alive, alive because we are different, because we are unique, free… happy. Palm Springs is a city where we live life; a life full of the things and people that we love.
Our Guest Host, Diva performs and Emcees for the night. San Francisco’s Sheena Rose brings her act to the desert and the night continues with Miss Rusty Waters and the ladies of Risqué. Then the flamboyant Los Angeles based synth disco trio, Iconique takes the stage with their upbeat, and theatrical 1980s influenced performance. Dancing in the street kicks into full gear with Jen DM (Hi Fashion DJ set) and a soulful, ball, vogue house beat.

CVRep's Venus in Fur Reviewed by Stephen Radosh
VENUS IN FUR, the beautifully written play by David Ives is a fascinating and engrossing, if slightly enigmatic, two character (or is it 4 character?) play. In a tantalizing mix of comedy, suspense and heated eroticism, VENUS IN FUR feels even more relevant today than when it opened on Broadway in 2011. Skillfully directed by Ron Celona, this play which focuses on the power of eroticism and the erotic nature of power, manages the frequent shifts in tonality so well that each change, no matter how sudden, feels absolutely right.
