Thanks to his skillful handling of the outrageous premise and characters, the play which is only a couple of years old, will certainly be around for a long time to come." Read More

Sarah Pezdek Debuts "PHOBIAS"
The Artist Reception is Friday, May 12, 2017 from 5-8 PM at the Geras Tousignant Gallery, and interestingly, this exhibit has an exclusive soundtrack created for this exhibit by famed composer Ivan Lusco.
From the gallery's official Facebook page, "Sarah Pezdek’s name is synonymous with high fashion having worked with publications like Cosmopolitan, OUT Magazine, Glamour and 25Ans and photographed New York Fashion Week including Michael Kors, Tom Ford and Zac Posen.
“Sarah’s work brings a new conversation to the forefront on what ticks in our minds as people,” says James Scott Geras, owner of Geras Tousignant Gallery, “Fears are real and yet often subtext for the individual. These photographs create a dialog.”
Regarding the exhibition of PHOBIAS, Pezdak explained, “Fear is the most powerful of all self imposed barriers that we create within ourselves. It limits our potential on every level of our existence. PHOBIAS is a series focusing on outrageous fears – by utilizing curated objects and symbolism, the images are an exploration of our internal power and how our fear can confine us.“ Subjects addressed in the series include Papyrophobia (fear of paper), Linonophobia (fear of string) and Globophobia (fear of balloons) and several others." What's your phobia?
A Transforming Vision: Ted Casablanca Gallery
Ted Casablanca is a collection of contemporary artists, with a strong emphasis on transformative vision. Included in our highly curated family are artists everywhere from Santa Monica to Dallas to Paris. But, Palm Springs, with its strong history of Phoenix-like beauty (hello, it’s the desert, we really shouldn’t be here) remains one of our guiding inspirations.
Explains Ted, "Mid-century landmarks and design. Incomparable architecture. Hollywood play-time debauchery. What’s not to love? We also like to challenge the notion of what is art. Beauty is in the eye of the opinionated, is it not?" Do Your Art On
