Eric & Ted Zepeda combining their customer service skills, experience, integrity and expertise opened Retro Etcetera in the Uptown Design District of Palm Springs in July of 2012. For the first year, Ted ran the shop full time while Eric worked another job and helped in his free time. Then 2 years ago we switched roles with Eric running the shop full time and Ted taking on a part time role. In the middle of all that, we got married in 2014. The shop was a true labor of love and was realized through our efforts along with family and friends. The shop is an old Railroad Apartment that is now 3 rooms of glorious vintage/retro items. Through the years we have tried to come up with a formula of what people have come to expect and want from a shop in Sunny Palm Springs. We specialize in items from the 1950’s, 1960’s and 1970’s, but as the name “Retro Etcetera” implies there is a wide array of treasures. Vintage clothing and Furs, Costume and Sterling Jewelry, Lucite and Art Glass, Mid Century Furniture, Artwork and Sculptures, Lamps and Pottery. Plus much more.
We do take on select consignments pieces and are proud to feature many such items from various dealers.
