About our founder, Canine Massage Therapist Wendy Rall, CMFT:

My mission of “Warming Hearts, Saving Lives” ©  was inspired by the ten years I spent rescuing dogs and cats (and the occasional horse) from the streets of Cabo San Lucas, BCS Mexico. In those years I found God’s true calling on my life, which is to help animals in need.

The concept of Rescued Tails began with a desire to share the stories of many of the estimated 1,000 dogs I rescued in that decade. In 2018 I began developing my design style with a plan to create a line of greeting cards featuring illustrations and the tales of many of these rescued animals. This plan took an unexpected turn when I decided to illustrate the pets of friends and family members as Christmas gifts one year. The reaction from my friends and family was overwhelming! That’s when I began this exciting venture down the road of pet portrait designs!
