Matthew David Studio is a fine art photography family based in Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley specializing in artistic and creative portraiture. We travel far and beyond the desert, but consider Los Angeles- Mexico and all places in between to be local. We fell in love with the sun soaked California desert many years ago, and followed our hearts to call this area home.
We shoot both digitally and with film and are dedicated to using Nikon, Hasselblad and Contax camera systems. Our creative vision is driven by the richness and depth of Kodak film, the inspiring beauty and drama of the great outdoors, and the tenderness between those who love, and those that are loved.
We come from a photographic background with many years in the commercial realm of fashion, architecture, still life, and food photography. We consider our creative vision to be whimsical, dreamy, nostalgic, and just a little ephemeral in nature because we thrive in the present moment. With our combined experiences and an imaginative sense for telling a special narrative, we are committed to capturing and sharing your unique story.
