Avoid large legal fees and complex courtroom procedures via mediation.
A Fair Way Mediation Center serves Southern California. We have helped couples through divorce issues for more than 25 years If you are considering a divorce, legal separation, have child custody or property disputes, A Fair Way Mediation offers a relaxed, informal atmosphere allowing fast and workable settlements.
We have considerable experience mediating disputes in traditional marriages, same sex marriages, domestic partnerships, and alternative relationships throughout San Diego, The Coachella Valley, and Riverside County.
A Fair Way Mediation is NOT an advocate for either party. A Fair Way Mediation San Diego does NOT make the decisions but helps guide the process. We listen and help each of the parties stay focused.
Our goal is for you to reach a reasonable and fair resolution with your spouse or partner, one that is much more cost effective than litigation, and which meets your needs, and that of your family.
Mediation is a voluntary process, however, and both Parties must be willing to try mediation. We offer a free 30 minute consultation with both Parties together to help our clients decide if they would like to try mediation.
Same Sex Divorce
Since we have been actively mediating divorces and “non-traditional” relationship break-ups for
more than two decades, we have seen society evolve to embrace alternative lifestyles and gay
marriage become more and more prevalent and now same-sex marriage is legal in every state.
What haven’t really changed are the issues which are basically the same in heterosexual and same sex marriages. Money, infidelity, health issues, “irreconcilable differences”— all play a part in the breakdown of a relationship.
All couples have unique situations. However, there are still a unique set of challenges in resolving problems in gay and lesbian marriages. Same sex couples have issues not faced by traditional relationships. We know how to handle the obstacles that may occur during the course of same sex legal separations, termination of domestic partnerships and divorces.
