Films on the Great Lawn: Invasion of the Body Snatchers

Sunnylands Center & Gardens, reopening for a new season Sept. 11, revives the 1950s genre with the return of its outdoor movie series, Films on the Great Lawn, screening “Invasion of the Body Snatchers” on Friday, September 13 at 7:30 p.m.  Presented in partnership with the Palm Springs International Film Festival, the screenings on three consecutive Fridays in September are free to the public, gates open at 7:00 p.m. Future screenings: “The War of the Worlds” on Sept. 20 and “The Thing From Another World” on Sept. 27.
