The Art of Pride is November 1 – Get Tickets Today
The Palm Springs Art Museum presents a brand new official Pride event, The Art of Pride, to kick off the celebration weekend on Friday, November 1 from 5:30–8:30 p.m. All three levels of the building will be open, including the museum’s two outdoor patios and the Annenberg Theater. Attendees can mingle and explore offerings from the permanent collection and current exhibitions, including Touching History, a commemoration of the 50th anniversary of New York’s Stonewall riots. Kiehls and MAC will be giving out samples and MAC will be presenting Pride-inspired body painting on a live model. RuPaul’s Drag Race’s Morgan McMichaels and Delta Work will be on hand, along with DJ Kimberly S spinning, plus an open bar, appetizers, and Boomerang Photo Booth by Coachella Party. Get tickets
Halloween on Arenas
Palm Springs Halloween on Arenas Road is Thursday, October 31 and along with entertainment from Grammy® Award-Winning artist Evelyn Champagne King and her band, the vivacious all-girl band Pulp Vixen and California favorites Probe 7 will perform. The infamous costume contest is back, with sign-up at 6:00 p.m. and contest at 8:00 p.m. Gay Desert Guide will be on the scene from 6:00–9:00 p.m. with a Photobooth by CoachellaParty.com so you can get a commemorative photo after you’ve registered for the costume contest! The Palm Springs Leather community comes together and welcomes visitors from all over the world to Palm Springs Leather Pride 2019 from Thursday, October 24 through Sunday, October 27. The Center’s 10th Annual “Center Stage” Fundraiser
The Center Stage fundraiser is turning 10, and to celebrate, The LGBT Community Center of the Desert is turning back the clock to throw a big 80s party on Friday, October 25! Coco Peru at Outlandish Performance Series
Coco Peru returns to Outlandish on Saturday, October 26 at 8:00 p.m. at the Palm Springs Cultural Center as part of the Outlandish Palm Springs performance series. Coco is described by Lily Tomlin as “one of the last great storytellers” and in her brand new show, “Have You Heard” Coco reminisces about her long career as a drag legend, performing some of her favorite monologues and songs, as well as some new stuff too. George Zander Candlelight Vigil & March
On Saturday, October 26 at 6:00 p.m., join in memory of all victims of hate crimes on the 4th anniversary of the day George and Chris Zander were attacked in downtown Palm Springs. Reflect, remember, and stand up against hate violence, and help carry forward the social justice efforts that defined George Zander’s life and honor his memory so that no other individual falls victim to a crime of hate. Vigil begins on La Plaza at Grand Central and marches through the heart of downtown Palm Springs. More info
Reel Women’s Film Festival
Come to the Palm Springs Cultural Center on Sunday, October 27 from 1:00–4:45 p.m. for an inspiring afternoon of diverse films about women at the Reel Women’s Film Festival. Palm Springs Tram Road Challenge
This isn’t your typical weekend 5K. The Palm Springs Aerial Tram Road Challenge, on Saturday, October 26 from 6:30–10:30 a.m., starts an an elevation of 400 feet and climbs (gradually) to over 2,600 feet! Completing the climb to the top is something you will remember forever, and each year over 1,500 participants take the challenge. Finish line is at the lower tram station, with refreshments, vendor expo, awards, prizes, and buses to bring you back down the hill. More info

Palm Canyon Theatre presents Priscilla Queen of the Desert from Friday, October 25 through Sunday, November 17. “Queer Genius” Film Screening
