We have breaking #PalmSpringsPride news as we get ready to publish this week – both good and not-so-good.
In an abundance of caution, two events are not happening.  The Land Art Installation will move to Nov. 1-7, 2021 and the Car Caravan (NOT a parade) has been cancelled.
However, we’ve now made the “Light Up the Night” event into a photo contest with the grand prize being…. 2 Roundtrip tickets on Alaska Airlines!  GayDesertGuide will be hosting the contest in two phases on Pride weekend.  First, you take a photo of your “Light Up the Night” display and post it to our contest page.  Next, our panel of judges puts forth a dozen for final voting by you and your friends.  We’ll announce details next week.
Modernism Fall Preview is underway virtually and there’s a bevy of other events to occupy your time and distract you from the noise of the election.  Support our local businesses and #ShopLocal.
