It's here, folks, the biggest lesbian gathering in the world, and it's known as The Dinah, running Wednesday March 28 through Sunday April 1.

Indian Wells Arts Festival at the Tennis Garden
From elite athletes to fine art: with the BNP Paribas Open all wrapped up, the Indian Wells Tennis Garden will this weekend become host to the 16th Annual Indian Wells Arts Festival. Enjoy one-of-kind works of art from 200 of the top artists from around the world and across the nation, with plenty of free activities, artist demonstrations, live music and entertainment, and a special Saturday and Easter Sunday “Eggs + Champagne in the
Garden” brunch menu. Runs Friday, March 30 – Sunday April 1, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 pm. Parking is free, kids are free, and admission is just $13. Get tickets
Weekend Theatre: Motherhood Opens, Several Others' Final Performances
Motherhood Out Loud is the final production of this 10th anniversary season from Dezart Performs, and offers an utterly unpredictable story that shatters traditional notions about parenthood, unveils its inherent comedy and celebrates the deeply personal truths that span and unite generations. Cabaret comes to the McCallum Theatre, based on Roundabout Theatre Company's Tony Award-winning production by Sam Mendes (Skyfall, American Beauty) and Rob Marshall (Into the Woods and Chicago, the films). Get tickets
The Goat, or Who is Sylvia? is a thought-provoking Edward Albee play presented by CVRep, and our reviewer Stephen Radosh raves about it here. This play contains, he says, "one of the most shocking and disturbing final moments of a play ever written." Intrigued? Get tickets
Suddenly Last Summer is a classic horror story written by Tennessee Williams, yet not as often performed as many of his other plays, so we are lucky to have it presented by The Desert Rose Playhouse. Stephen Radosh reviews it here and praises the "commentary on the very inhumanity of mankind which is as on the money today as it was in 1958." Get tickets
Cocktail Hour, presented by Coyote StageWorks at the Annenberg Theatre in Palm Springs, was written by A.R. Gurney and features a cast of WASP-y family members who confront their mutual frustrations over martinis, with recriminations and revelations both funny and poignant. Get tickets
HIV + Aging Research Project: Thriving with HIV
Palm Springs Reunion Project 2.0 will include a community HIV conference consisting of a mix of facilitated discussions, panels, and presentations led by key researchers, advocates, and long-term survivors of HIV/AIDS. Presented by Eisenhower Health in partnership with HARP-PS and TPAN/Reunion Project. This is a free event but *RSVP REQUIRED by March 30. More info
