Our hamlet takes the national spotlight today (Friday) as “Live with Kelly & Ryan” feature Palm Springs in their recurring segment “Virtual Road Trip”. It airs locally on ABC TV.
Local philanthropists James Scheibel and Tim Wood are spotlighted along with Andrew Copley, according to an article in TheDesert Sun.
It comes as news of our poop graces the cover of the March edition of the Coachella Valley Independent. Publisher Jimmy Boegle explains on this week’s #ILoveGayPalmSprings Podcast and opines in an article published today why he (and I) share optimism about seeing light at the end of the tunnel.
So like a butterfly from its cocoon, we’re slowly emerging to a world that isn’t feeling quite as scary as it did just a few weeks ago. That’s good news for our tourist economy and for our own mental health. Keep those masks on, but breath a little easier as we move into March. Brad Fuhr, your Gay Desert Guide
