CVRep Ground-Breaking Fundraising Celebration

Also on Monday, May 7, Coachella Valley Repertory is officially celebrating the "groundbreaking" of their new home with a very special celebration. This outdoor party, at their new home in the former IMAX theatre in Cathedral City, will feature champagne, wine, small bites, entertainment by Keisha D and a 3-piece band, with exciting auction items all to raise funds to support CVRep. ONE-PS to Host Community Issues Forum on Measure C

On Thursday, May 10 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., ONE-PS will host a Community Issues Forum on Measure C – Vacation Rental Ordinance set for the June 5 ballot. Hot Rodeo This Weekend

The 2018 Palm Springs Hot Rodeo will take place May 10–13, 2018, and the events kick off Thursday night with a Dance Contest at Hunters, then continue Friday with a Hot & Wet Cowboy Pool Party at Hot Rodeo host hotel Baymont Inn & Suites, on Friday, May 11 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Later that night, headlining performer Brandon Stansell will be at the Out Behind the Shed Kick-Off Party at the Tool Shed, 8:00 p.m, Friday May 11. Other events include a Saturday night Dancing Under the Stars at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, sponsored by Chill Bar, and oh yeah, actual competitive rodeo events taking place at A.C. Mourning Malcolm Perkins

Streetbar is mourning the loss of dear friend and co-worker Malcolm Perkins, who passed away April 21 after a long battle with cancer. Malcolm moved to Palm Springs to open Azul's Tapas restaurant in 2013. He was always a joy to work with, as well as the life of the party. Few family details are known but Streetbar will share any additional information as it becomes available, on their Facebook page.
