On Saturday June 2 from 2:00–5:00 p.m., the LGBT Community Center of the Desert presents "Dirty Sign Language"—Yes, you read that correctly: there's more to curse words than just the middle finger! Learn to express your emotions, communicate sexually explicit messages without making a sound, and interpret signs which are considered "dirty" or "taboo." Earn continuing education units too! Laguna Beach Pride This Weekend
Did you know Laguna Beach had the first openly gay mayor in the United States? Robert F. Gentry was elected in 1982! Laguna Pride has been around since 1994, and their website has a timeline just full of fun facts like this! This year the celebration starts with a kick-off party on Friday, June 1 and continues through the weekend with DJ's, Dancing, Drag Shows, GoGo Dancers, and fun on the beach.
