Brad Fuhr Caricature

This week I’m trading in my view of the pool at Canyon View Estates for a view of the  Peninsula Papagayo at the Andaz Costa Rica Resort. No less than a dozen Palm Springs residents are also here as summer vacations begin. Vacaya’s Patrick Gunn, also a local, is our host.

While it’s a world away, I’m only one time zone different. My nearest ”neighbor” is our KGAY Program Director, Chris Shebel. He and his husband are in Ecuador. The summer vacation season will be offset by thousands of incoming visitors to Greater Palm Springs. Maybe you, dear reader, are planning a trip to the desert? We’re here every day to help you get the most out of our Oasis. Oh, and Happy Pride Month!

Brad Fuhr, your Gay Desert Guide & KGAY 106.5 Palm Springs
