Dating is a real challenge right now, but it appears having sex is not. Desert AIDS Project reports that STDs and new HIV infections are up: “Steadily rising rates of HIV, syphilis, and chlamydia in the Coachella Valley are showing that the last five months of living in the “new normal” has interfered with people taking care of their sexual health.” DAP offers at-home HIV testing resources and COVID-19 testing.
A safer choice is gay and lesbian speed dating – virtually and virtuously – starting soon. #ILoveGayPalmSprings podcast co-host Shann Carr hosts. We love this way of speed dating because of the three possible outcomes – a date, a friend or a business connection. Sign up now via our Events page or on Facebook. And see below for the rundown on this week in #ILoveGayPalmSprings!
