AmDocs Continues, Adds Latino Track
The American Documentary Film Festival opened over last weekend and continues through this week and into next weekend. New this year: AmDocs Latino, two days of powerful, story-driven films celebrating Latin American people, their heritage, their stories, and their unique cultures. Eat Well, Do Good at Evzin
Sanctuary Palm Springs continues their "EAT WELL. DO GOOD." program of community participation this week at Evzin, donating a portion of their evening dining proceeds on Monday, April 9 to benefit SPS efforts to house and educate LGBT+ youth here in Palm Springs. More info
TGMondays at Blackbook
TGMondays is a monthly fundraising and social event that benefits the Raina Chessman Fund which helps the local transgender community. A percentage of purchases throughout the day will benefit the Fund so please stop in for breakfast, lunch or dinner at Blackbook on Monday, April 9. And from 5:00–8:00 p.m. there is a transgender social event. All allies and respectful admirers are welcome. More info
Dining Out For Life Kickoff
Join us on Wednesday, April 11 at 5:30 p.m. as the members of Partners for Life host the Dining Out for Life Coachella Valley Kick-Off on the patio of Palm Springs' beautiful Eight4Nine Restaurant and Lounge. This event is co-hosted by Gay Desert Guide. Complimentary small bites and a signature drink special. Is Stress Killing Your Desires?
Eisenhower Health presents Is Stress Killing Your Desires? as part of their Sexual Health and Wellness Lecture Series at the LGBT Community Center of the Desert on Wednesday, April 11 at 5:30 p.m. Dr. Joy Jones-Harris will be sharing some functional medicine tips on things you can do to rest better, and have an improved sense of well-being. Just two weeks away now: get your tickets to Meet the Museum, the only White Party event celebrating LGBT artists, at the Palm Springs Art Museum on Friday, April 27 at 6:00 p.m. Enjoy both the Warhol and Childress Exhibitions, in addition to a bar, food, and DJ.
