Labor Day Luau at the Westin

Safari Nights Return to the Living Desert

Safari Nights return to The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens every Friday night in September when the park is open after dark, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Explore The Living Desert under the light of the moon and see many of the zoo’s favorite animals. International Friendship Conference Comes to Palm Springs

The 29th edition of the International Friendship Conference (IFCON) will be held from August 31–September 3 at the Hilton Palm Springs. This annual gathering is hosted by members of the International Friendship Alliance (IFA) and Long Yang Club (LYC), two groups dedicated to providing social activities for gay Asians and their friends. Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over

The Palm Springs Police Department is driving home the importance of celebrating responsibly by not driving, or riding a motorcycle, impaired. From August 17–September 3, The Palm Springs Police Department is participating in a high-visibility national enforcement campaign, Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over. The Palm Springs Police Department will have a special emphasis during this 18-day mobilization to enforce all traffic violations by deploying DUI Saturation Patrols through the Labor Day holiday weekend, which is one of the deadliest times of year in terms of alcohol-involved traffic deaths.
