- When Dignity ≠ Suffering will be co-presented by Leslie Chincilla, CA Campaign Organizer of Compassion & Choices and Thom Bettinger, End of Life Doula, to share the emotional aspects, conflicts and obstacles that come up for terminally-ill patients and medical professionals alike when physician-aid-in-dying is chosen. We invite you to join PALS for an enlightening hour-long seminar addressing the human side of what its like when Californians, with less than six months to live, freely exercises their legal right to die with dignity and autonomy over their end of life care.
