Town Hall Meeting on Monkey Pox

HIV + Aging Research Project Palm Springs (HARP-PS) is convening a public town hall meeting with county public health officials and our local providers to inform the community about monkeypox in the Coachella Valley via Zoom.  We've already had one case of exposure at a local PS STI clinic last week of someone who'd been to LA Pride the week before, and had been notified by the LA Health Dept that they'd been exposed to monkeypox at Pride.  Monkeypox has been reported in men who have sex with men across the US and Europe, so while this may be our first case in our valley, it certainly won't be the last.
