The Summer Sing-a-Long series is back at the Palm Springs Cultural Center with returning favorites and new classics.

Special Update!

You have the opportunity this weekend to meet Aileen Quinn, the actress best know for playing Annie in the hit 1982 movie musical, when she makes an appearance at The Palm Springs Cultural Center.

On tap: Quinn will appear in person ahead of a sing-a-long showing of Annie led by the Palm Springs Gay Men’s Chorus.

Pre-lube your voices and come early to the sing-a-long happy hour upstairs in the VIP Lounge with drink specials, Mildred's happy hour menu, and featuring your favorite episodes of the hit HBO musical series SCHMIGADOON (corn-puddin' anyone?) and Ryan Murphy's GLEE on the tele.

Next head into the theatre for a sing-a-long classic at 7:00 pm

Note: Admission to Happy Hour is FREE. Admission to the Sing-a-long Screening is $15 and can be pre-purchased online and at Box Office. Drink Specials are available pre-event and online only.

July 2, 2022 / Mamma Mia Sing - A - Long / 7 pm

  • Set on a colorful Greek island, the plot serves as a background for a wealth of ABBA songs. A young woman Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) about to be married discovers through an old diary of her mother's that any one of three men could be her father. She invites all three to the wedding without telling her mother, Donna (Meryl Streep), who was once the lead singer of Donna and the Dynamos, In the meantime, Donna has invited her backup singers, Rosie and Tanya to the wedding. Joining up with an eclectic cast of characters and groovy ABBA sing-alongs as Sophie and Donna grow in love, family, and friendship.

July 23, 2022 / Annie Sing - A- Long / 7 pm

  • In the depths of the 1930’s, Annie is a fiery young orphan girl who must live in a miserable orphanage run by the tyrannical Miss Hannigan. Her situation changes when she is selected to spend a short time at the residence of the wealthy Oliver Warbucks. Quickly she charms the household and Warbucks. He decides to help Annie find her long lost parents by offering a reward if they can prove their identify. Miss Hannigan, her brother Rooster and a female accomplice plan to impersonate those people to get the reward which puts Annie in great danger

July 30, 2022 / Little Shop of Horrors Sing - A - Long / 7 pm

  • Business is bad at Mushnick's Flower Shop. Shy Seymour and brave Audrey will soon be unemployed. That is until Seymour pricks his finger and a sickly little exotic plant gets its first taste of human blood. The plant spurts ten feet tall. As horticultural interest in "Audrey II" sprouts, Mushnick's business takes off. But fresh blood must me found - and people start disappearing. Love and business bloom at a hilarious yet bloody cost.

August 6, 2022 / Mama Mia! Here We Go Again Sing - A - Long - 7 pm

  • Reprising their roles from Mamma Mia! The Movie are Academy Award® winner Meryl Streep as Donna, Julie Walters as Rosie and Christine Baranski as Tanya. Amanda Seyfried and Dominic Cooper reunite as Sophie and Sky, while Pierce Brosnan, Stellan Skarsgård and Oscar® winner Colin Firth return to play Sophie’s three possible dads: Sam, Bill and Harry.
  • As the film goes back and forth in time to show how relationships forged in the past resonate in the present, Lily James will play the role of Young Donna. Filling the roles of Young Rosie and Young Tanya are Alexa Davies (A Brilliant Young Mind) and Jessica Keenan Wynn (Broadway’s Beautiful). Young Sam will be played by Jeremy Irvine (War Horse), while Young Bill is Josh Dylan (Allied) and Young Harry is Hugh Skinner (Kill Your Friends).
