Event Details

JOHN LODGE, legendary bass player, songwriter and vocalist of The Moody Blues and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, will be on tour in Feb/Mar ’23, performing the Moody Blues album, ‘Days of Future Passed’.  The album will be performed by John and his 10,000 Light Years Band, and will bring this iconic album to life, taking you back to 1967!

We are delighted to confirm that John has added a special one-off symphony show to serve as the finale of this US tour, and will be performing with us at the Rancho Mirage Amphitheater on March 26.

John, together with his band, and the Coachella Valley Symphony, will perform 'Days of Future Passed' - which marked its 55th anniversary on November 10, 2022 - in its entirety, with a special recording by the late Graeme Edge and performances by Jon Davison of YES.  Come join us and experience ‘Nights in White Satin’, ’Tuesday Afternoon’, ‘Peak Hour’, and all the wonderful songs that made this the groundbreaking album that it was, and yet still sounding so relevant today.

John’s tour also coincides with the 50th anniversary of The Moody Blues’ 1973 album Seventh Sojourn (released November 17, 1972) which spent 5 weeks at Number 1 on Billboard, and features two of the Lodge-penned hits “I’m Just a Singer (In a Rock and Roll Band)” and “Isn’t Life Strange”.  The show will be rounded out by these two self-written classic hits, plus the classic encore for the Moody Blues, “Ride My See-Saw”, all making for a truly magical night under the stars!
