The College of the Desert presents The Fantasticks November 18–20, 2022 at Theatre Too at College of the Desert.

​​​The Fantasticks tells the story of two young people who fall madly in love at the hands of their meddling fathers but grow restless and yearn for more. Will their separation provide a deeper appreciation for each other, or create a break that can’t be mended? The Fantasticks is a quintessential celebration of love told simply, but with a bit of mischief thrown in for good measure. The Fantasticks opened at New York's Sullivan Street Playhouse on May 3, 1960, and played 17,162 performances before closing January 13, 2002, making it the world's longest-running musical. This show includes the beloved songs "Try to Remember," "Soon It's Gonna Rain" and many more.
