Our Amigo Room bar is dark and cool, with an extensive draft beer selection, comprised entirely of craft beer. We have strong relationships with breweries who share our love of expression through their craft. Our cocktails are inspired, with fresh juices, local spirits and bright flavors.

• Paraíso’s weekly residency brings back a radiating warmth to the desert this winter. The party returns to the Ace Hotel + Swim Club with a rotating lineup of resident DJ’s theywept, applemartini, dj dolce, angelcement, shigecki, indiocholo + special guests TBA. Immerse yourself in el mundo de Paraíso and come experience an energy that’s intoxicating, alluring, and most of all – fun!
• Paraíso, or paradise, is a queer-run party series that is dedicated to cultivating community through music and dance. The party curates an immersive experience where music, dance, and leisure unite to create a euphoric oasis. Through carefully selected mixes, Paraíso fosters an ethereal ambiance, transforming spaces through human connection and shared freedom found in the rhythm.

• Los Angeles based movement, Hood Rave brings us into the 2nd weekend of Desert Gold with DJs BAE BAE, Kita and Sevyn spinning in Amigo Room, creating a safe space to experience music, joy and community!

• About Hood Rave
• Hood Rave is an underground dance space rooted in South Central LA. The event is a collaboration by DJ Kita and BAE BAE, who merge hip hop and dance music genres in their uplifting high-energy eclectic dj sets. Hood Rave strives to be a safer space that centers black and brown DJs and audiences across the gender spectrum. The party uplifts consent culture and creating loving connections across our communities and on the dancefloor. We strive to be a place where you can be free!

• “The craft of songwriting is 100% what I’m about,” says Dent May. “That’s what keeps me going.  My goal is to just live a long life and write a ton of good songs.” With the Mississippi-raised, Los Angeles-based musician and pop auteur what you see is what you get: a restless and prolific artist who worships at the altar of a memorable hook and a sharp lyric. There is no gimmick or press-ready narrative about May overcoming past trauma, mental breakdowns, or surpassing insurmountable obstacles. This is simply a guy who is extraordinarily good at making warm and inviting tunes. He’s done it for over 15 years and isn’t stopping anytime soon. 

• The 38-year-old artist has made a career of impeccably crafted pop songs starting with his 2009 debut The Good Feeling Music of Dent May & His Magnificent Ukulele, which came out on Animal Collective’s label Paw Tracks. His follow-ups in 2012’s Do Things and 2013’s Warm Blanket solidified him as a bedroom pop pioneer whose songs felt equally timeless and ahead-of-the-curve. Following a move from Mississippi to Los Angeles, May signed with Carpark and released two increasingly adventurous albums in the psychedelic Across the Multiverse from 2017 and the silky Late Checkout in 2020.

• Sip and lounge while listening to carefully curated sounds at the Amigo Room.
• Join us in the Amigo Room for an evening of poetry, storytelling, and live music curated by Red Light Lit. Featuring musical guest, Mary Simich, a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, possesses a dusty voice reminiscent of a reincarnated mid-century artist.
