Richard M. Milanovich Legacy Hike/5K

This is the 7th Annual Richard M. Milanovich Legacy Hike/5K, the most important fun and challenging local athletic event held in Indian Canyons Palm Springs. Whether hiking is used as a corporate function, employee appreciation or family fun, the Trading Post Challenge is for everyone. Walkers start at registration at the intersection of South Palm Canyon and Acanto Road and proceed south into Indian Canyons through the toll gate heading up towards the Trading Post. Walkers will pass Cahuilla Landmarks such as Andreas Canyon to the west. Continuing up the road, walkers will pass an old gas station, proceed through split rock, continue south past West Fork, make a sharp left up to the Trading Post and finish at Palm Canyon, the world's largest Fan Palm oasis.

Runners start at registration and proceed south into Indian Canyons through the toll gate heading up towards the Trading Post. Runners will pass Cahuilla Landmarks such as Andreas Canyon to the west. Continuing up the road, runners will pass an old gas station, proceed through split rock, continue south past West Fork make a sharp left up to the Trading Post and finish at Palm Canyon, the world's largest Fan Palm oasis.
