Event Details

The 34th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival will run Friday, January 6, 2023 through Monday, January 16, 2023.

The Film Awards Gala will take place on January 5 at the Palm Springs Convention Center, with film screenings beginning Friday, January 6 including the Opening Night presentation that evening and will conclude with Best of Fest on January 16.

Our Opening Night film is 80 for Brady directed by Kyle Marvin, screening on Friday January 6. The film stars Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, Rita Moreno, and Sally Field.

The festival will close with The Lost King, directed by Stephen Frears and starring Sally Hawkins on Sunday, January 15.

The Palm Springs International Film Festival (PSIFF) is one of the largest film festivals in North America, welcoming 136,000 attendees last year for its lineup of new and celebrated international features and documentaries. The Festival is also known for its annual Film Awards Gala, a glamorous, black-tie event attended by 2,500.
