The Original Palm Springs Desert Certified Farmers' Markets Reopen Outdoors with Increased Market Match Benefits this Friday, September 30, 2023! 

The Palm Springs Certified Farmer's Market is next to the Palm Springs Cultural Center from October to May.

Now in its 15th year, the Original Palm Springs Certified Farmers' Market has been a cherished part of our community. We are excited to announce that the outdoor season kicks off Saturday, September 30th, 2023 at its usual location at the Palm Springs Cultural Center on 2300 E Baristo Rd. The Market will be open every Saturday through the end of May, from 8am to 1pm. Expect to see both new vendors and familiar faces, along with the freshest, farm-direct produce in the Valley.

The market will feature a variety of California Farmers and Value Added Vendors who will be selling fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, eggs, cheeses, honey, organic coffee, flowers, rugelah, prepared foods, soups, herb-infused chocolates, soaps, and more!

They will also include music by local musicians, food demonstrations, and a variety of special events each week.

The Palm Springs Cultural Center operates the only mission-driven farmers' markets in the region. We are proud to announce an enhancement to our Market Match program, now offering a remarkable $20 match for every $20 of CalFresh EBT benefits spent at the Markets through the end of the year. This increase from $15 to $20 allows customers to double their purchasing power for fresh fruits and vegetables, making healthy eating more accessible to all.

The Original Certified Farmers’ Markets are committed to improving food accessibility in the Coachella Valley, thanks to the support of private and public grant funding. The Market Match program, which matches CalFresh EBT benefits dollar-for-dollar, has consistently put high quality, nutrient-dense, farm-direct produce on the tables of thousands of Coachella Valley residents each year.
