Musical Theatre University Presents A Musical Theatre Weekend at the Rancho Mirage Amphitheater.

On Friday, April 29, 2022 and Sunday May 1, 2022, Musical Theatre University presents Into the Woods.

Musical Theatre University students are joined by Broadway Veteran Daniel May (Flower Drum Song, Soft Power) in Stephen Sondheim's classic musical comedy-drama that brings together favorite fairy tale characters Cinderella, Jack (of Beanstalk Fame), Little Red Riding Hood, The Baker and his Wife and more on their journey to Happily Ever After, and what lies beyond.

Running time: Two Hours, Thirty Minutes with one intermission.

General Admission Tickets $35.00: Unreserved Seat

On Saturday, April 30, 2022 Musical Theatre University presents Defying Gravity: The Music of Stephen Schwartz.

A celebration of the music of Broadway Composer Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Godspell, Pippin) with a cast of twenty Musical Theatre University students joined by Broadway Veterans Eric Kunze (Les Miz, Miss Saigon), Alix Korey (Fiddler On The Roof, Chicago) and Teri Ralston (Company, A Little Night Music)

Running time: 90 minutes, performed without an intermission
