Movies in the Park

The Palm Springs Cultural Center is thrilled to present Movies in the Park, the first annual outdoor summer pop-up film series at the new downtown park in Palm Springs.

Each summer month features a different iconic Marilyn Monroe film. Movies in the Park launches June 15 with THE SEVEN YEAR ITCH, followed by GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDES on July 20, and then SOME LIKE IT HOT on Aug 17.

Joining us for each screening are The Marilyns of Palm Springs- a local Marilyn-centric performance troupe led by Miss DD Starr of the Palm Springs School of Burlesque. The Marilyns will be on hand for photos and fun before each screening.

These events are provided FREE to the community through the generous support of our sponsors: P.S. Resorts, City of Palm Springs, Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce, Destination PSP, and Crystal Fantasy.

The movies are scheduled to start at 8pm, but show times may vary slightly depending on sundown.

Head downtown early to dine at one of our fabulous local restaurants or grab something to go for a picnic in the park.
