Monkeypox Community Town Hall Meeting

HIV + Aging Research Project Palm Springs (HARP-PS) is convening a third public town hall meeting for the community about monkeypox in the Coachella Valley via Zoom. 

This meeting will take place on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at 7 pm on Zoom.

Things are changing rapidly with the monkeypox pandemic in the Coachella Valley.  As of this past Thurs (7/21) a very limited number of vaccines are being made available to select high-risk individuals at three places: Borrego Health, DAP Health, and Eisenhower Health.  Please contact each for availability and their current vaccination criteria.  And know that more vaccines are on the way--the County is releasing them to providers as fast as they receive them from the state.

Join County & State health officials, elected officials, and local providers to learn about the latest in vaccination efforts, treatment access, and how the community is responding to slow the spread of monkeypox here in Palm Springs.
