Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration

The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemoration Day Committee, the city of Indio, and the Palm Springs Black History Committee are inviting the everyone in the Coachella Valley to their annual MLK Commemoration Day Celebration on Sunday.

The celebration is on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at Love of Christ Community Church, 43640 Burr St. in Indio. Indio City. Council Member Waymond Fermon is the keynote speaker. He will be joined by youth speaker Genesis Triplett from Palm Desert High School. Lt. Gov. Eleni Kounalakis and Palm Springs Mayor Grace Garner will be on hand. Every city in the valley will be present proclamations
