L-Fund Financial Seminars

The L-Fund is excited to offer the community a safe space for lesbians and our allies to learn and discuss personal finances with a three part financial planning seminar and social series! Each event will take place 6 pm - 7:30 pm.

Seminar One: Tuesday, August 9

Getting to know the basics: The essentials to better understanding your financials

During this session we’ll discuss: 

• The essentials of budgeting, managing debt and credit, investing and saving
• Actionable tips that can help you develop good financial habits for the future 

Seminar Two: Wednesday, September 28

Balancing life today and dreams for tomorrow 

During this session you’ll learn ways to: 

• Balance smart decisions about today with planning for tomorrow 
• Plot your journey to retirement into doable steps so it’s manageable 
• Maintain financial balance by being prepared for risks and unexpected events
• Create a meaningful legacy today 

Seminar Three: Tuesday, October 25

Plan for the future: How an estate plan helps put you in control 

During this session you’ll learn ways to: 

• Care for the people you love, even after you’re gone 
• Leave behind a lasting, meaningful legacy 
• Manage estate tax burden – for you and your heirs
