“Rodgers is like a cool drink on a hot sultry night, reminiscent of the early Speakeasy performances." - CV Weekly

Facilitating three residencies in Palm Springs: Mondays - Leanna and Miguel on congas at V Lounge, Tuesdays (Sept - May) - Leanna and the Jazz Collective on the 2nd Floor at the Palm Springs Cultural Center, Thursdays - Jazz & Martinis at V Lounge - they are in demand and taking the desert music scene by storm. Their shows (Duo, Trio, Quintet to a 9-piece jazz band) include music covering the 1930s to today, filling events with genres of Jazz, Latin, Bossa Nova, Pop, Broadway and Soft/Yacht Rock - every show is unique to the venue they perform.

Combining Leanna’s BA Theatre Arts Degree (Cal State Long Beach), with her award-winning professional/regional theatre experience across Southern California, her performances continue to capture the Palm Springs feel with that special nod to the jazz world. No stranger to the performance arena, Leanna has lent her voice to recording sessions for film, television and radio. Highlights of past performances include headlining at iconic Herb Alpert's Vibrato Grill Jazz, singing the National Anthem at the Acrisure Arena, performances at the Frank Sinatra Estate with their jazz quartet, opening the Playboy Jazz Festival / Hollywood Bowl to Birdland West, VIP performances at Agua Caliente Spa & Casinos, to studying and working with top jazz musicians in SoCal. Leanna is a prodigy performer, as both her parents performed Civic Light Opera / Broadway Musicals - where she got the bug to follow in her musical familial lineage. Her husband and musical partner Miguel brings his Latin roots from his live performances in Miami and his native Colombia, and is also a current member of SAG, having worked on many popular tv/film productions. Through it all, they share 20 years of marriage and three musically inclined children who, on occasion, can be seen sharing the stage with their parents.

Leanna is honored to bring her Palm Springs style show with an engaging mix of Jazz, Latin Jazz, and Bossa Nova, to the scene every week at her residencies. They have also performed regularly at well-known area venues: Mr. Lyons, Oscar's, Tommy Bahama, Harvelle's Long Beach, and many others.
