GRACE: A Theatrical Ice Show

Ice Dance International presents Grace: A Theatrical Ice Show in the Coachella Valley at the Acrisure Arena’s Berger Foundation Iceplex on March 18, 2023.

Some of the top names in figure skating are coming to Acrisure Arena’s Berger Foundation Iceplex for a spectacular performance of theater on ice. Olympic Champion Dorothy Hamill and two-time U.S. Olympic Team Member JoJo Starbuck will serve as hosts for Ice Dance International’s (IDI) “Grace,” performed by an ensemble of ten world-class figure skaters (5 of whom are from the LGBTQ community) including two-time United States Champion Alissa Czisny and 2022 U.S. Open Champions Kseniya Ponomaryova and Collin Brubaker.

Artistic Director Douglas Webster notes that “It is an experience for the viewer, a theatrical journey with dynamic, athletic movement, intimate interaction, soaring grace and artistry, and swirling patterns that will transport the audience.”  Grace features music by Philip Glass, Max Richter, Moby, Arvo Part, and Ludovico Einauldi.

Grace is 90 minutes long including one intermission. It starts at 7:00 pm. Please bring warm clothes to wear in the ice rink and a padded cushion or blanket for the bleacher type seating. Tickets are $30 for general admission, $15 for youth to 16 years and VIP tickets are $50 that include VIP seating and post show meet and greet with the cast.
