Flagging in the Desert

On Saturday, November 5th our DJ, Russ Rich from San Francisco will provide an exciting soundtrack to dance, flag, or just watch. This free event will be in Ruth Hardy Park at 700 Tamarisk Road in Palm Springs.

There is an instructional class preceding the event at 11 AM and the DJ starts at noon. While the event is free we hope you will donate what you can to our selected charity – The Cathedral City Senior Center. There will also be a silent auction of donated flags. The music continues until 4 PM.

The weather should be warm but not overwhelming. As always, prepare with sunscreen, and as it’s a public park, some footwear is encouraged. We will provide ice and water so bring something to sit on, pack a lunch/snacks, and bring other beverages. Well-behaved furry friends are also welcome.
