Drawing for Pleasure

Event Details

The Center presents Drawing for Pleasure. This in-person class will meet on Tuesday and Thursdays for 8 weeks.

Engaging in creative activities is known to have physical, mental, and emotional benefits. If you’ve been looking for a way to reduce stress and explore new avenues to fun and relaxation this is the class for you. Here you will participate in drawing activities that are fun, sometimes challenging (but not intimidating), and may be a pathway to new and rewarding leisure time interests.

Along with instruction on basic drawing skills, composition, and development of ideas, you will participate in drawing exercises that include elements of collage, creative use of text, pattern blending, and other unique projects. While you will learn here, the main point of this class is to have fun with drawing and the creative process.

Come and tap into the artistic impulse that is inside of us all.
