Animal Samaritans and Guide Dogs of the Desert invite you to the 1st Annual Doggies & Desserts on Tuesday, May 2, 2023.
Meet some canine heroes from Guide Dogs of the Desert. Learn about their journey from puppyhood to the perfect job, as well as demonstrations of their skills.
Animal Samaritans will have adoptable pets on site as well as ACT dogs (Animal Companion Therapy.
Learn canine tips and observe Sandy Miller as she demonstrates her dog training skills. Sandy is a Revel Resident with over 50 years of experience and who has trained over 10,000 dogs.
Fine Art Photographer, Kathy Rappaport, of Flash Frozen Photography will set up a studio and donate 100% of the proceeds to the wonderful causes of Animal Samaritans and Guide Dogs of the Desert. For your $25 donation you will receive a 5x7 print from our special session and the opportunity to order some special art of your loved furbaby. Bring your clean/trimmed/brushed and friendly dog on a leash. One dog per pet portrait, please.
