Desert Stonewall Democrats May Membership Meeting

Desert Stonewall Democrats May Membership Meeting will be in person at The Mizell Center on Tuesday, May 17, 2022. They will have a Zoom component also for those who aren't yet comfortable with an indoor setting.

There topic will be the one on everyone's mind his week - the potential decision to overturn Roe v. Wade by the Supreme Court. Our speakers will address the immediate implications for women and the potential implications for other rights established by the SC based on the 14th amendment right to privacy.

May marks Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, which celebrates the histories of Americans hailing from across the Asian continent and from the Pacific islands of Melanesia, Micronesia and Polynesia. DSD honors people of this community as does this Presidential Proclamation.

Join us at 5:30 PM for some social time with a glass of wine and snacks before the meeting at 6:00 PM. We have been promised that Ruth's famous brownies will be back!
