Creative Writing with David Wallace

Mizell Center presents Creative Writing with David Wallace September 10 – October 29, 2022.

David Wallace is a nationally published author of nine non-fiction books, including A City Comes Out, a landmark history of Palm Springs, and I Called Him Uncle Harry, a memoir of growing up with his aunt and uncle, Harry and Bess Truman. He has also co-authored several books. His work has been called “inspired” by The New York Times.

Here's your opportunity to learn from the best! Mr. Wallace will be teaching this class in person. The hallmark of his writing classes at Mizell is informality. He creates a comfortable environment of mutual respect for everyone’s work – whether that is a family history, a play, poetry, a novel, or continuing a previously started work.  David Wallace can help guide you.

This eight week class meets on Saturdays from September 10, 2022 through October 29, 2022 from 1 to 3 pm.
