The City of Palm Desert is bringing live music back to the Civic Center Park amphitheater with a series of free, weekly concerts throughout the month of May.
The City of Palm Desert is bringing live music back to the Civic Center Park amphitheater with a series of free, weekly concerts throughout the month of May. Featuring a diverse range of talented performers designed to please music lovers of all ages and tastes, the concerts will be held every Thursday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Pack your picnic baskets, or enjoy delicious culinary creations offered by a variety of food trucks parked by the amphitheater.
A certified American Sign Language interpreter will sign every concert in the series. Guests who might benefit from that service are welcome to sit near the east side of the stage for best viewing.
Bring blankets or lawn chairs to enjoy the shows. Food and beverage trucks offering a wide variety of tasty choices are available one hour before each show. Alcoholic beverages and smoking are prohibited at Civic Center Park.

The series continues on Thursday, May 11, with a return performance from We Belong, celebrating Pat Benatar and her husband, guitar player Neil Giraldo. This dynamic duo began in 1979, and their power ballads continue to pack venues today. A fitting tribute, married musicians Debbie and Mike Sierras have performed together throughout Southern California for over three decades and are back in Palm Desert by popular demand.

Palm Desert's Spring Concert Series closes out on Thursday, May 25, with the very best in Yacht Rock, Yachty by Nature. Hailing from Southern California, but playing from sea to shining sea, this six-piece band will help you get yachty with your favorite groovy tunes from the late 70's to early 80's, including those from Hall and Oates, Steely Dan, Toto, Christopher Cross and so many more.
